Well here we go.
LEGO Star Fox, anyone?
I decided to try and make an Arwing in LDD.
It's mostly based on the
64 design.
I wanted to do an
Assult-style arwing, but they are a little more complicated so I went with this instead.
let's take a closer look, shall we?
This is the back. Obviously.
Here's a close-up of the cockpit.
The radar changed a few times.
Previously it was this:
I'm not sure which I like better.
There's a laser on the front-bottom, which you couldn't see in the previous shot.
The wings are on hinges,
Which let them be adjusted, as the do in-game.

Here's another shot of the cockpit:
The minifigure was included simple so I could get the cockpit the right size.
He's just a simple figure with no quirks, but I did color him to resemble Fox's outfit.
The cockpit does fit a minifigure without any headgear or with a small wig,
but helmets or other larger headgear won't fit.
I'll try to fix that.
You can see that the handles aren't quite being gripped, since trying to do so causes the entire model to spaz out.
LDD is weird like that.
This model is NOT final, there things I want to fix.
Even since taking these screens I've made a few small adjustments.
Can you spot the differences?
For the most part, I'm satisfied with how the hull? came out, but the two engines on the sides are not how I want them.
I will eventually get it right.
I liked doing this, and I'm (mostly) proud of the result, so I think I'll keep going.
I want to make some other Star Fox vehicles now.
Not sure which one yet.
Maybe a Landmaster, maybe a Wolfen.
There are plenty of enemy ships to choose from,
plus all the ships from
Command.
But one things for sure, I'm not going ANYWHERE NEAR the
Great Fox.
I'd love to be able to make that, but I know I'd never finish it.
Anyway, I'd appreciate any feedback, and expect more (small-scale) models in the near future.
That is all.
