It's kinda off-topic, but meh...

At least it's not as bad as Megaman... yet.

I'm going to have to disagree with you. Portal 2 and Trackmania are prime examples of recycled gameplay, and yet they're fun? CoD and Halo are working off what's fun, and they have a brilliant mix of storyline (although CoD is usually more Hollywood than storyline) to involve the player in the experience.

Portal 2 and Trackmania allow you to create your own levels. I know you're not big on games that rely on custom content. I, however, enjoy games that allow you to shape the world. Again, a difference of opinion. CoD and Halo, on the other hand, don't appeal to me due to a lack of replayability. Once you beat the game, it's done. CoD's multiplayer is lackluster at best and Halo has (unfortunately) a barely tolerable online player-base. Again, a difference of opinion.

You know how I said that correcting opinions is a plague on the internet? Well, this goes to show what I mean. All I said at the start is that I felt SW:TOR needed something that added replayability, and Zephyria attacked me as though I had just said that everyone who played the game is a pathetic loser who just likes to kill stuff. Of course, I would defend myself against such an attack, which was then followed by this lengthy argument.

Oh, one small thing. F2P restricts the ammount of experience you earn by slowing the gain to an almost crawl.

That isn't a small thing.  That makes PvP pay-to-win for anyone with, you know, less time than a 30-yo with no job living in his parents' basement.

>PvP. Story-based game.

TOR Isn't that PvP focused.

longer xp times equals grinding to me, too.  I don't like grinding.

Isn't one of the main points of an MMO the grind, though?

Not really.  If an MMO is story driven, I want to be able to focus on the story, not running around mindlessly shooting stuff.  If I want to mindlessly shoot stuff, I'll play Counterstrike or another FPS.  I should be able to get the XP needed for the next quest by doing the quests needed to do that next quest, instead of going through Runescape all over again.

Yeah, Creature XP is slowed down. Quest XP is the same.

I play this, and enjoy it.

Looking forward to the expansion coming this year.
