I put in the parameter to view the game version and I thought: What is the difference between the versions of the game?

To get the version number you can use TheDoctor's Parameter Manager in the Downloads section or you can make a shortcut to LegoRR.exe and put "-showversion" (No quotations) in the shortcut after "C:\Program Files\LEGO Media\Games\Rock Raiders\LegoRR.exe" or what ever directory you have the game in.

Please post whether your game is 95/98 or XP, Masterpiece or not, normal case or the taller PS2 like case (The green one), if it calls track 1 "Wiggle Bugs" (I am dead serious that the version number could finally solve this mystery), the version obviously, and any other info you think is needed.

What I find odd is that my game isn't even a 1.0 or something but 0.121.

It's like they made it that way to show that they weren't finished or something.

Can someone explain to me what the LEGO Masterpiece games are anyways?

I tried to find info on them but all I got was the LEGO Masterpiece Collection. (It doesn't have LEGO Rock Raiders in it by the way. )

I have the Masterpiece version and I saw somewhere in some file that it was version 1.0. Idk. I guess I could test it tomorrow unless I get ninja'd.

I'm showing V.0.121. Diskless EXE, and I'm pretty sure I installed it from my original Win98 disk, which does not have the diskless EXE, so I must have obtained that file somewhere else. I do know the disk has Wiggle Bugs.

I have both the Masterpiece and the non-Masterpiece versions. The non- is quited scratch, so I am unsure if I will be able to get anything off of that disc, but I will try to check both versions when I have time this weekend.

There IS a difference between the Masterpiece version and other versions: no in level music files.

My masterpiece had music. GOOD music.
The xp version also has music, but it sucks.

I have a masterpiece, and a non-master piece that came in a set with LI2, LR1, and RR. My masterpiece one never played music, except for the menu and finishing the level (Cheif's talking is music). My Masterpiece disk went KABLAM in my dad's high-speed drive, so I got the one that came in the pack. I got it, and as soon as I put it in my mac's high speed drive to install it, KABLAM! I resurrected my old computer with the masterpiece CD data on it, and now I have the game again!

It has diskless EXE, both of them.

I have the encore version for xp (on pc) of Rock raiders but, it wont work on windows 7. I think im going to buy the Play station version probably.

Read "Troubleshooting" in the FAQ; you should be able to run the game in win7.

Also, please don't necro topics that are more than a month old. (without good reason)
