Yes, it really is coming from the installer, by way of Inno Media Player . It pipes audio through the DirectShow API, and supports any audio type Windows can play. It can even do videos.

As some of you may already know, I now own Island Xtreme Stunts. It was given to me as a gift, and I was told it came all the way from Australia to the US. Wow.
